If you have any questions or concerns not covered below please do not hesitate to get in touch via the feedback link above. Shipshape is a brand new platform and we’re keen to hear your thoughts and make rapid improvements.

What is shipshape?: shipshape is a platform to proudly share what you ship: not the code you write, but the value you deliver by shipping it. Your Vercel deployment data can be used as the basis for a wide range of beautiful, blazing-fast dashboards.
How does it work?: The platform is currently tightly integrated with Vercel, and Vercel only. Link your Vercel account and we'll pull in your deployment data, which can be used as a data source for your dashboards.
What data do you use from my Vercel account?: As little as possible: we need read-only access to team and user information, and read-only access to deployment metadata (not code). That's it.
What other Vercel permissions does shipshape request?: None. Specifically, we do not request write access to anything, nor can we access any code or secrets like environment variables.
How is deployment data synced?: When you first link a new Vercel personal or team account we'll backfill your deployments. After that Vercel will send us webhook notifications when you deploy a project which we'll use to keep things in sync.
Can I unlink my Vercel account?: Yes. You can remove the shipshape integration via your Vercel dashboard. This will revoke any access to your account, but please note you will need to manually delete any dashboards you wish to remove.
I love the look of someone else's dashboard - can I copy it?: Yes. You can clone any public dashboard and use it as a starting point for your own. Scroll down to the footer and click 'clone this dashboard' to get started.
What does auto-refresh mean?: This refers to how often a dashboard will automatically fetch new data (if available) without a user having to refresh the page. The lower the auto-refresh interval, the more up-to-date the dashboard will be.
What does X-day retention mean?: This refers to how many days or months worth of data we will retain and can be displayed on your dashboards. The higher the retention, the more historical data you can display.
Why can't I create component <x>?: Whatever it is it's probably a great idea! Please let us know about it and we'll try and get it added ASAP.
I don't think all of my deployment data has synced - what can I do?: Head to your settings page and click the 'Sync' icon in the bottom right hand corner. If this still doesn't work please get in touch - we will sort it.
My Vercel team has lots of members - can we have a shipshape team account?: Not yet: only one person can link a Vercel team to shipshape. Please reach out if this is something you'd like to see implemented.
I want to share my stats on a custom domain - is that possible?: This is supported on the Pro and Power plans. Custom domains are manually mapped and thus there is a small administration fee on the Pro plan which is waived on the Power plan.
